The immediate past governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has called for the unconditional release of Chief Olu Falae who was abducted on Monday.
In a statement appealing for the release of the elder statesman, Otunba Daniel described Chief Falae as one of the remaining distinguished leaders who has dedicated his life to the service of his people and the nation in general.
He also stressed that Chief Falae is a peace loving old man who does not deserve any ill treatment or stress in whatever form.
“Chief Olu Falae, has paid his dues in ensuring unity and peace in the country and one can only wonder the motive behind his abduction despite his humanitarian and warm disposition to all”.
Otunba Daniel then prayed for the safe release of the front line politician as he equally called on all well meaning Nigerians, politicians, religion leaders, former Heads of State and Presidents to intervene in the appeal for the freedom of the former Secretary to the Federal Government.
